Work and Classes in CAR Suspended Today until Nov.12



Work in government offices and classes in public schools at all levels in CAR and some other regions in the country are suspended today (Wednesday), November 11, 2020, until tomorrow, November 12, 2020. This update is based on the Memorandum Circular No. 82 issued by the Office of the President of the Philippines.

“Upon recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in view of the continuing inclement weather brought about by Typhoon “ULYSSES,” work in government offices and classes in public schools at all levels in Regions II, III, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, V, Cordillera Administrative Region and the National Capital Region, are hereby suspended effective 3:00 PM today, 11 November 2020 (Wednesday) until 12 November 2020 (Thursday).”

Private Companies, Offices, and Schools

As stated in the memorandum, the suspension of work for private companies, offices and schools, on the other hand, is left to the discretion of their respective heads.
