Grade 12 students in Baguio City, Benguet, and across the Philippines who plan to pursue science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and other priority courses may now apply for the DOST Undergraduate Scholarship Program. Applications are open from August 17 to September 17, 2026.
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2026 is now accepting applications from qualified students who want to pursue college degrees in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and other priority fields.
The scholarship provides financial and academic support to eligible students throughout their undergraduate studies, including assistance for tuition, living expenses, learning materials, transportation, and other school-related costs.

Who Can Apply for the DOST Undergraduate Scholarship?
The scholarship is open to qualified students under the following categories:
Graduating Grade 12 students in SY 2026-2027
- STEM Strand: All students belonging to a STEM class may apply.
- Non-STEM Strand: Applicants must belong to the top 5% of their Non-STEM graduating class.
Grade 12 graduates from before SY 2026-2027 who have not yet enrolled in college
- STEM Strand: All students who belonged to a STEM class may apply.
- Non-STEM Strand: Applicants must have belonged to the top 5% of their Non-STEM graduating class.
Applicants must also satisfy the other eligibility requirements prescribed by DOST.
DOST Scholarship Benefits
DOST scholars may receive financial assistance during the regular academic year, with additional support available for required summer or mid-year classes.

The summer or mid-year benefits apply only when summer or mid-year enrollment is required under the scholar’s curriculum.
*The transportation allowance covers one actual economy-class roundtrip fare per academic year from the scholar’s permanent residence to the place of study outside their home province or region, and vice versa. Reimbursement is made at the start and end of the academic year only.
