Need to Have Your Pet Spayed or Neutered? Here’s Baguio’s October Schedule
The Baguio City Veterinary and Agriculture Office (CVAO) has announced the schedule for Kapon sa Baguio 2026, a spay and neuter program for qualified dogs and cats on October 28, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Pre-registration begins on October 12 and will continue until all available slots are filled. The program is exclusively for Baguio City residents, with only one pet allowed per owner.
Pet owners must personally register at the City Veterinary and Agriculture Office before the scheduled activity. Walk-in participants will not be accommodated.
How to Register for Kapon sa Baguio 2026
Interested pet owners must visit the CVAO at the Slaughterhouse Compound, Barangay Sto. Niño, Baguio City, to secure a slot.
Applicants must bring a valid identification card showing a Baguio City address or a barangay certificate, along with their pet’s anti-rabies vaccination card.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the availability of slots. Pet owners who have previously availed themselves of the city’s spay and neuter services will be given lower priority.
A maximum of two people may accompany each pet during the activity to prevent overcrowding.
