Typhoon “Quinta” Slightly Intensifies
The eye of Typhoon “Quinta” was located at 310 km West of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro as of 4:00 PM today (Monday), October 26, 2020.
Based on the Severe Weather Bulletin issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) at 5:00 PM today, Typhoon “Quinta” slightly intensifies as it moves west-northwestward over the West Philippine Sea.
According to PAGASA, the typhoon will move west-northwestward towards the western boundary of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is forecast to exit the PAR tomorrow morning. “Quinta” may reach its peak intensity within 24 hours.
Note that this broadcast is valid only until the next advisory which is to be issued by PAGASA at 11:00 PM today.
