Typhoon Emong remains slow-moving over the coastal waters west of Pangasinan, with TCWS No. 4 now hoisted in parts of La Union, Ilocos Sur, and Pangasinan. Residents are urged to stay alert for possible life-threatening winds, storm surge, and flooding.
As of 5:00 PM, July 24, 2025, Typhoon Emong remains almost stationary over the sea just off Pangasinan. The system continues to threaten Northern and Western Luzon with destructive winds, heavy rains, and dangerous seas. Typhoon signals have been raised further as Emong’s strong winds and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon continue to impact Luzon and other parts of the country.
