Tropical Storm “Crising” Intensifies, Heads Toward Cagayan-Babuyan Islands
Tropical Storm Crising has slightly intensified as it moves west northwest toward mainland Cagayan and the Babuyan Islands. Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals No. 1 and 2 are now hoisted in parts of Northern and Central Luzon, with heavy rainfall and gale-force winds expected in the affected areas.
Tropical Storm Crising continues its approach toward Northern Luzon, bringing the threat of heavy rain, severe winds, and dangerous coastal conditions. As of 11:00 AM on July 18, 2025, the system has strengthened and is moving west northwest. Residents in areas under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals are urged to remain vigilant, monitor advisories, and prepare for possible flooding, landslides, and coastal hazards.
