Northeast Monsoon and Easterlies to Bring Isolated Rains Across PH Today



In the 4:00 AM weather bulletin today, March 2, 2021 (Tuesday), of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the country will experience isolated rains today.

According to PAGASA, the Northeast Monsoon will affect extreme Northern Luzon. And, the Northeast Monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

Furthermore, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies/localized thunderstorm affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

In addition, possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.


Also, over Northern Luzon, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will be experienced.

While for the rest of the country, it will be light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
