Tropical Storm Crising continues to affect Northern Luzon, with strong winds and heavy rain as it passes near Calayan, Cagayan. TCWS No. 1 and 2 are up for many areas.

Tropical Storm Crising (WIPHA) is passing close to Santa Ana and Calayan, Cagayan, bringing strong winds, heavy rainfall, and storm surges to Northern Luzon. Residents under wind signals are urged to stay alert and follow official advisories.

  • Up to 4.5 m: Northern Ilocos Norte, remaining seaboards of Cagayan, seaboard of Isabela
    Sea travel is risky for all vessels. Mariners must remain in port or seek shelter until conditions improve.

Track Outlook

  • Crising will move west northwestward within the next 12 hours, possibly making landfall or passing close to Babuyan Islands tonight.
  • Afterward, Crising will continue to move west northwest and is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by tomorrow morning or afternoon.
  • The storm may intensify to Severe Tropical Storm by tomorrow evening or early Sunday.

Residents and local officials are advised to take all necessary precautions, especially in flood- and landslide-prone areas. Monitor official updates and heed evacuation instructions.
