Severe Tropical Storm Crising has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility but continues to affect Northern Luzon with strong winds, heavy rainfall, and rough seas. Some areas remain under wind signals.

Severe Tropical Storm Crising has intensified and moved outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of 10:00 AM today. While no longer inside PAR, the storm’s effects—strong winds, heavy rain, and hazardous seas—will still be felt in parts of Northern Luzon and nearby areas.

A Gale Warning is in effect over the northern and western seaboards of Northern Luzon. Sea travel remains risky for all types or tonnage of vessels.

Very Rough Seas:

  • Up to 4.5 m: Batanes, Babuyan Islands, northern Ilocos Norte
    Sea travel is risky for all vessels. Mariners must remain in port or seek shelter until conditions improve.

Rough Seas:

  • Up to 4.0 m: Remaining seaboards of Cagayan; seaboard of Bataan, Occidental Mindoro (including Lubang Islands), Kalayaan Islands; western seaboards of Palawan (including Calamian Islands); western seaboard of Pangasinan
  • Up to 3.5 m: Seaboard of Zambales; western seaboards of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Batangas, Antique; southern seaboard of Iloilo; western/southern Guimaras; remaining seaboard of Pangasinan
  • Up to 3.0 m: Seaboard of Isabela; western seaboards of Negros Occidental; remaining seaboards of Palawan
    Small seacrafts and motorbancas advised not to venture out under these conditions.
