Severe Tropical Storm “Enteng” Intensifies Over the West Philippine Sea
Severe Tropical Storm “Enteng” (YAGI) has intensified as it moves over the West Philippine Sea, with maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h, gustiness up to 115 km/h, and is currently located 165 km west-northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. The storm is moving west-northwestward at 10 km/h and is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by tomorrow morning (September 4). Further intensification is expected, potentially reaching typhoon status by Thursday.
