Parts of Benguet and Pangasinan are experiencing light to moderate rain due to the Southwest Monsoon, with similar conditions expected to affect more areas in Northern Luzon.
The Southwest Monsoon, or Habagat, continues to bring rain over parts of Northern Luzon on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
In Rainfall Advisory No. 24 issued at 8:00 AM, PAGASA said light to moderate rain was being experienced in portions of Benguet and the following areas in Pangasinan:
These conditions may continue for two to three hours and could spread to nearby areas.
PAGASA said light to moderate rain may also affect the following areas within the next two to three hours:
Benguet
La Union
Pangasinan
Similar conditions are also expected over Calayan in Cagayan, Kayapa in Nueva Vizcaya, and portions of Ilocos Sur.
Residents, particularly those living near mountain slopes and other hazard-prone areas, are advised to remain alert for possible landslides, mudslides, rockslides, and flash floods.
The public and local disaster risk reduction and management offices are advised to continue monitoring weather conditions and official PAGASA updates.
The next advisory is expected to be issued at 2:00 PM on Tuesday.
