LTO-CAR Releases Guidelines for Commuters
The Land Transportation Office – Cordillera Administrative Region (LTO-CAR) has published a public advisory today, June 19, 2020, containing guidelines for the riding public as per the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).
LTO-CAR Guidelines for Commuters
Public Utility Jeepney (PUJ) Passengers
Based on LTO-CAR’s advisory, passengers of PUJs should take note of:
- The Plate Number of the PUJ they boarded
- Date and time of boarding
Taxi and Bus Passengers
On the other hand, commuters who will ride a taxi or a bus should:
- Sign at the passenger’s manifest or logbook
Transportation To and From Baguio City
As for Baguio City’s case, based on the Temporary Transportation Scheme (from June 16-30, 2020) published through PIO-Baguio, Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) for interzonal transportation may not operate until guidelines have been released by the city government.
Thus, only PUJs and taxis are allowed to operate for now subject to the guidelines provided under the temporary scheme.
