The Department of Public Works and Highways has released an updated road situation and travel advisory for motorists traveling within the Cordillera Administrative Region. As of 7:00 AM today, five major road sections remain not passable due to recent heavy rains and slope failures.

All other previously reported road closures are now passable. However, motorists are reminded to drive with caution as weather conditions may still trigger sudden changes along mountain highways.
Authorities advise all travelers to exercise extreme caution when using newly opened roads. Hazards may still be present, including debris, soft shoulders, or ongoing clearing operations.
Drive slowly, follow all traffic signs, and remain alert for sudden changes in road conditions. Your safety remains the top priority. Stay updated through official advisories before traveling.
