The Department of Public Works and Highways-Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) released its latest road and travel advisory covering major routes leading to Baguio City and affected national roads and bridges across the region.
Motorists who need to be on the road are advised to take note of restrictions and continue monitoring official advisories as conditions may change.
The following major routes remain passable:
Several portions of the Baguio-Bontoc Road, also known as Halsema Highway, are limited to one-lane traffic.
The road is one-lane passable due to a road slip at Caliking, Atok, Benguet.
A section at Paoay, Atok is one-lane passable due to mudflow.
A section at Abiang, Atok is one-lane passable due to fallen debris.
The Baguio-Bontoc Road at Sitio Tiktik, Barangay Bontoc Ili, Bontoc is one-lane passable due to an unstable slope condition.
Kennon Road remains temporarily closed to non-residents until further notice due to continuous heavy rainfall affecting the area.
According to DPWH-CAR, persistent rainy weather may result in slope failures, rockfalls, and landslides, making travel along Kennon Road hazardous.
Non-resident motorists are advised to use alternative routes such as:
Use of alternative routes remains subject to prevailing road conditions.
Motorists are also advised to follow instructions from traffic enforcers and emergency personnel and monitor official announcements for updates on the reopening of Kennon Road.
The section at Beckel, La Trinidad, Benguet is not passable due to a road slip.
The section at Barangay Bobok-Bisal, Bokod, Benguet is not passable due to a mudflow.
A section of the Abra-Kalinga Road at Duldulao, Malibcong, Abra is one-lane passable due to soil collapse.
Several road sections and bridges in Apayao remain affected by mudflows, road slips, and bridge-related restrictions.
A section at Luttuacan, Kabugao is one-lane passable due to mudflow.
A section at Poblacion, Kabugao is also one-lane passable due to mudflow.
Other portions of the Apayao-Ilocos Norte Road at Namaltugan and Butao, Calanasan are one-lane passable at intermittent sections due to road slips.

The Baguio-Itogon Road is not passable at Sitio Goldfield, Barangay Poblacion, Itogon.
Alternate route: Ucab-Midas Road
A separate section of the same road at Barangay Ucab, Itogon is one-lane passable due to a sinking road section.
The Cong. Andres Acop Cosalan Road at Barangay Duacan, Kabayan is not passable.
A section of the Gov. Bado Dangwa National Road at Ampusongan, Bakun is not passable.
A separate section at Bangho, Daclan remains one-lane passable under an open-close traffic scheme.
Vehicles are allowed through the affected Bangho section one at a time, with temporary passage scheduled from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM only, except during emergency cases.
The road will automatically be closed during continuous heavy rainfall or whenever the condition becomes unsafe for passage.
For light vehicles, an alternate route is:
A section at Tabio, Mankayan is one-lane passable due to soil collapse.
Pico Bridge #2 remains one-lane passable due to cracks on the girders.
Makilo Bailey Bridge in Bugnay, Tinglayan is limited to light vehicles.
The bridge has a 5-ton load limit, and long-bodied vehicles are not allowed.
Aliog Bridge in Nambaran, Tabuk City is limited to vehicles weighing 5 tons or less and has a vertical clearance of 3 meters.

DPWH-CAR reminded motorists that hazards may remain even along roads that are still open to traffic.
Those who need to travel are advised to slow down, obey road signs and instructions from traffic personnel, and remain alert when approaching affected sections.
Road conditions may change depending on rainfall and developments along affected areas.
