The low pressure area east of Aurora has developed into Tropical Depression Dante as of 2:00 PM today. By virtue of Memorandum Circular No. 90, classes and work in several areas are suspended on July 23, 2025.
As of 2:00 PM, July 22, 2025, PAGASA reports the formation of Tropical Depression “Dante” east of Aurora. Two additional low-pressure areas—one inside PAR and one outside—are also being closely watched for possible development into tropical cyclones.
By virtue of Memorandum Circular No. 90, work in government offices and classes at all levels are suspended on July 23, 2025 in the following areas due to the continuous heavy rainfall from the Southwest Monsoon:
Note: Agencies responsible for basic, vital, and health services must remain operational. Localized suspensions in other regions may be declared by their respective Local Chief Executives. Private companies’ work suspension is at their own discretion.
