The tremor occurred at 2:33 PM and was located at 16.31°N, 120.55°E, approximately 9 kilometers south, 7 degrees west of Tuba, Benguet. The earthquake had a depth of 10 kilometers.
Based on the initial earthquake information, Baguio City recorded Instrumental Intensity V.
Other areas also recorded instrumental intensities, including Intensity IV in Aringay, La Union, and Intensity III in Sison, Pangasinan.
