Did you know that in order to help Baguio City recover from the tragedies of the July 16, 1990 Killer Earthquake that leveled the City, Atty. Damaso Bangaoet proposed the holding of a flower festival in February. Founded in 1995 and named Baguio Flower Festival and in 1996 it was renamed Panagbenga a Kankanaey term which means “a season of blooming, a time of flowering”.
