PMA Releases 2026 Entrance Exam Results; 1,216 Pass
The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) has released the results of the PMA Entrance Examination 2026, with 1,216 examinees successfully passing the nationwide test conducted from July to September 2026.
The examination was held across 48 testing centers nationwide.
According to the PMA, it received 36,596 online applications this year. Of this number, 26,339 applicants reported to their assigned examination sites, while 25,452 qualified to take the entrance examination.
A total of 1,216 examinees passed, equivalent to a passing rate of approximately 4.78%. This is lower than the 5.28% passing rate recorded in the previous year’s examination.

What Happens Next for PMAEE 2026 Passers?
Passing the entrance examination does not automatically guarantee admission to the Philippine Military Academy.
All 1,216 passers will proceed to the next stage of the Academy’s selection process as PMA determines who will eventually compose the incoming PMA Class of 2031, which is tentatively scheduled to convene in May 2027.
The screening process will run from October 2026 to April 2027 and will include:
- Complete Physical Examination
- Medical Assessment
- Neuropsychiatric Evaluation
According to the PMA, the comprehensive screening process is intended to determine which applicants meet the physical, medical, psychological, and other requirements for admission to the Cadet Corps Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Only those who successfully complete the succeeding stages of the selection process will qualify for admission to the Academy.
PMAEE 2026 Top 10 Passers Include Two PSHS-Baguio Students
The Philippine Military Academy also recognized the highest-ranking examinees in the PMA Entrance Examination 2026.
Two students from the Philippine Science High School – Baguio City were among the Top 10 passers.
Jilian Alexis Chan Lapada ranked first, sharing the top rank with Gabriel James Valdez of the Philippine Science High School – Ilocos Sur.
Sofia Venize Carasi Barola, also from Philippine Science High School – Baguio City, ranked ninth.

The PMA Entrance Examination is only the first stage of the Academy’s admission process. Successful examinees must still pass the succeeding physical, medical, and neuropsychiatric assessments before they can be considered for inclusion in the PMA Class of 2031.
