#WalangPasok: Classes in All Public Schools Suspended from May 2-13, DepEd Announces

The Department of Education (DepEd) announced on Monday that classes in all levels (Kinder to Grade 12) in public schools will be suspended from May 2-13, 2022.

As per DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2021, the suspension of classes is to give way to duties activities related to the upcoming Local and National Elections, wherein public school teachers will serve as Board of Election members.

Despite the suspension of classes, teachers are still expected to report to their schools, even on days when there are no election-related activities.
