By 800 Examinees Successfully Passed the 2020 Physician Licensure Examination
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the list of passers of the March & September 2020 Physician Licensure Exam. Out of the 1,424 examinees, 800 have successfully passed the Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) 2020.
In addition, the PLE was the only board exam to push through since the pandemic due to the immediate need of the Philippine government for new medical doctors. And, the September 2020 board exams for professional medical doctors were conducted by the Board of Medicine n the cities of Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
Furthermore, the top-performing school was Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation with a 91.60 percent passing rate.
Top 10 PLE Passers
For this year’s Physician Licensure Examination, Maria Carla Edejer Buenaflor from the University of the Philippines – Manila with a rating of 89.17 percent topped the list.
