At 10:00 AM, the center of Wilma was estimated at 235 km east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar (11.7°N, 127.6°E).

Track and Intensity Outlook

• Wilma will move west southwestward until tomorrow (Dec 6), then trend westward in the succeeding period.
• The center may make landfall or pass close over Eastern Visayas or Dinagat Islands between tonight and tomorrow morning.
• Wilma will then traverse the Visayas until Sunday (Dec 7) before emerging over the Sulu Sea, heading toward northern Palawan by Monday (Dec 8).
• Wilma is expected to remain a tropical depression through the forecast period, with possible intensification over the West Philippine Sea.
