Tropical Depression “Verbena” Crosses Panay, Now Over the Sulu Sea

Tropical Depression Verbena has moved out of Panay Island and is now over the Sulu Sea, bringing rains and strong winds to parts of the Visayas and nearby provinces as it continues moving west-northwestward.
At 10:00 AM, the center of Verbena was estimated over the coastal waters of Hamtic, Antique (10.6°N, 121.8°E) based on all available data, including Iloilo Doppler Weather Radar.

Track and Intensity Outlook
- Verbena will continue moving west-northwestward over the Sulu Sea, pass near or over Cuyo Islands this afternoon, and make landfall over the northern portion of Palawan tonight.
- It will exit into the West Philippine Sea early tomorrow (26 Nov) and continue toward the west-southwest.
- Verbena is forecast to exit PAR early Thursday.
- It may reach tropical storm intensity near northern Palawan and intensify further over the West Philippine Sea.

- Expect rainy and gusty conditions in Western Visayas and MIMAROPA.
- Those in flood-prone and landslide-prone areas should remain alert.
