Province of Apayao Records 3 New Confirmed Cases Today

The Province of Apayao has recorded three (3) new confirmed positive cases today (Thursday), September 24, 2020. This update was provided by the Provincial Government of Apayao earlier this afternoon through their recent advisory.

3 New Cases in Apayao

Here are more details about the said new cases:

  • A 35 Years Old, Male
    • PNP Personnel
    • A Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Camp Crame, Quezon City
    • A resident of Poblacion, Calanasan
    • The fifth confirmed and the only active case in the municipality
  •  A 32 Years Old, Female
    • Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Caloocan City
    • A resident of Balluyan, Flora
  • A 32 Years Old, Male
    • Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Caloocan City
    • A resident of Balluyan, Flora

As of today, there are now forty-four (44) confirmed cases in the province. These cases are tagged as follows: five (5) active, thirty-eight (38) recovered, and one (1) fatality.

To facilitate contact tracing efforts, the Provincial Government of Apayao encourages those who had contacts with the new cases during the last two weeks to come forward and coordinate with the Rural Health Units of Calanasan and Flora.

The public, on the other hand, is reminded to stay at home, observe social distancing, wear a mask, and maintain proper hygiene.
