Four Roadlines in Baguio, Benguet Remain Not Passable as of October 7, 2026
Four roadlines in Baguio City and Benguet remain not passable as of the morning of October 7, 2026, while all national roads and bridges in Abra, Apayao, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province are passable, according to the latest DPWH-Cordillera road and travel advisory.
The Department of Public Works and Highways-Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) said the advisory was based on reports gathered from 6:08 AM to 6:59 AM.
Kennon Road also remains passable to light vehicles only, with a maximum load limit of 5 tons.

Kennon Road remains passable to light vehicles only, subject to a 5-ton maximum load limit.
Several sections continue to have restrictions:
- At Sitio Camp 2, Barangay Twin Peaks, Tuba, the Acrow Bridge remains not passable, while the detour road is one-lane passable.
- The Rockshed Approach at Camp 6 is one-lane passable.
- Another section at Camp 6, Tuba is one-lane passable due to falling rocks.
Motorists using Kennon Road are advised to exercise caution and follow traffic and safety instructions at affected sections.
Four Roadlines Remain Not Passable
Baguio City
Two roadlines remain affected by sinking sections:
- PMA Road
- PMA Cut-Off Road No. 3
DPWH-CAR said continuous monitoring of the affected sections is ongoing.
Benguet
Benguet-Nueva Vizcaya Road
The Benguet-Nueva Vizcaya Road at Barangay Beckel, La Trinidad remains not passable due to a road cut.
Alternate routes are:
- Marlboro-Beckel Road
- Labey-Lacamen Road
Baguio-Itogon Road
The Baguio-Itogon Road at Sitio Goldfield, Barangay Poblacion, Itogon remains not passable due to a landslide.
DPWH-CAR said clearing operations are ongoing at the affected section.
Alternate route: Ucab-Midas Road
All National Roads Passable in Five Cordillera Provinces
DPWH-CAR reported that all national roads and bridges are passable in:
- Abra
- Apayao
- Ifugao
- Kalinga
- Mountain Province
Clearing and Restoration Operations Continue
DPWH-CAR said road-clearing teams and heavy equipment remain deployed in affected areas to remove soil, rocks, debris, and other obstructions.
Those who need to be on the road are advised to exercise extra caution, follow traffic advisories and instructions from personnel on site, slow down when passing affected sections, and avoid unnecessary travel in hazardous areas.
