In the 11:00 AM weather advisory of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) today, February 11, 2021 (Thursday), some isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms may still be experienced over the eastern section of the country due to easterlies.
Furthermore, as of 2:00 AM today, according to PAGASA, the Low Pressure Area(LPA) East of Mindanao has dissipated. The said LPA was estimated based on all available data at 910 km East of Mindanao (6.6°N, 134.4°E) at 10:00 AM yesterday.
In addition, the effect of the Tail-End of a Frontal System (Shear Line) has weakened.
“PAGASA regional Services Divisions will issue local thunderstorms/rainfall advisories in their respective areas of responsibility as appropriate,” PAGASA added.
