Mayor Magalong Orders Lockdown over Three Puroks in Loakan Proper for Contact Tracing

Mayor Benjamin Magalong issued Memorandum 82, Series of 2020, ordering the implementation of lockdown over three puroks in Barangay Loakan Proper starting today, June 16, 2020, until further notice.

Puroks in Loakan Proper under Lockdown

After a resident of Barangay Loakan Proper tested positive for COVID-19, Mayor Magalong ordered placing the following Puroks under lockdown:

• Purok Magsaysay
• Purok Sadjo
• Maxicar Village

According to the memorandum, the said areas are placed under lockdown for the conduct of contact tracing and to ensure the safety and security of those who may have been in contact with the confirmed case.

What does this mean for the residents of the Puroks under lockdown?

1. The use of Home Quarantine Pass/Mall & Market Schedule is hereby suspended.
2. To access basic necessities, residents may proceed to their satellite market or available rolling stores or coordinate with their Barangay Officials.
3. Exit and entry to the barangays are restricted to APORs and those with medical emergencies.
