Marvel’s “Black Widow” and “Shang-Chi” Release Dates Moved; See Schedule Here
It looks like we will be waiting a little longer to see our dear Natasha Romanoff back in action, as Marvel Studios has just announced a new release date for “Black Widow.”
From the original May 7, 2021 release date, the first film in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will be released on July 9, 2021, both in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access.

MCU Upcoming Films Release Dates
With the new schedule of Scarlet Johansson’s Black Widow moved to the original date of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ release, the movie starring Simu Liu will be pushed back to two months and will be released on September 3, 2021.

Black Widow Synopsis
In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina Vostokoff.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings
Simu Liu stars as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film’s cast also includes Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan. Additionally, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng appear in the upcoming movie, which is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
