The City Government of Baguio has released an order reducing the seating capacity or permitted attendance for gatherings and religious services in the city on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
Executive Order No. 44, series of 2021, gatherings, most especially in enclosed spaces such as those places used for religious services and worship shall be permitted only at a maximum of thirty percent (30%) of the venue’s seating capacity.
The restriction will be in effect from Tuesday, March 23, 2021 to Sunday, April 4, 2021.
According to the Public Information Office of Baguio City, the implementation of said restriction is needed to mitigate the surge of COVID-19 cases in the city.
Earlier this week, the city government has also announced temporary closure on indoor tourist attractions and reduced seating and premises capacity for hotels, inns, and food establishments in accordance with IATF Resolution No. 103.
