Here’s How Locally Stranded Individuals in Baguio Can Return to their Provinces

The Public Information Office – City of Baguio has published the BCPO General Guidelines for the conduct of Quarantine Control Points/Checkpoints regarding Covid-19 operations under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).

Included in the said guidelines is the procedure on how locally stranded individuals (LSIs) in Baguio City can return to their respective provinces.

So if you’re one of the LSIs here in Baguio City and would like to return to your province as soon as possible, you have to secure the required documents.

Travel Authority

Based on the guidelines, the LSIs who would like to go back to their homes outside of the Baguio, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, Tublay (BLISTT) area shall secure a Travel Authority (TA) from the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) for forwarding to the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR).

Requirements for TA

Furthermore, in order to secure a TA from the BCPO, you have to prepare the following documents:

  • Medical Certificate
  • Properly filled-out Health Declaration Form (HDF)

One-Stop-Shop

For those who need to secure a medical certificate and TA, you can visit the One-Stop-Shop established at the Athletic Bowl.

At the One-Stop-Shop, you’ll find booths of the City Health Office for securing a Medical/Health Certificate and of the BCPO for receiving applications and release of TA.

When Can You Get the TA

The TA will be available for release the day after the application is submitted based on the guidelines.

In addition, the list of approved TAs shall be posted at the BCPO KapanaligKo Facebook Page.
