GLOBE urges users to upgrade to LTE SIM for free

Globe is urging its users to visit the nearest Globe store and replace their old and obsolete SIMS with LTE SIM cards in order to have a better data service experience.

Since December last year, Globe has been notifying its mobile users who are still using their old and obsolete sim cards about the free sim replacement.

How do you know if you’re using an old and obsolete SIM?

To check if your sim is a 3G SIM, send SIM Check to 8080.

How to get a SIM Replacement for your GLOBE sim card?

Visit the nearest Globe store and get a FREE LTE SIM in replacement of your old sim card.

NOTE: When you switch to an LTE SIM card, you will be able to keep your old number.
