Ever since the pandemic has started, more and more people from around the globe, especially Filipinos, have grown interest in taking care of plants or growing a garden. In our country we even now dub plant lovers as “plantitos” or “plantitas”.

While some are into succulents, others are now into plants with unique and elegant leaves that cost a fortune. And there are also many who prefer to grow plants that yield crops instead.

Caring for plants or gardening has many benefits. It can become a new hobby for you and your family, a stress reliever, and even a source of fresh and healthy food. So if you feel like plants are already calling out your name to join in the trend, better give it a try.

For those of you who are yet to join the craze, there are several places here in Baguio City where you can buy different kinds of plants. Listed below are some of the locations that you may visit.

Where to Buy Plants in Baguio?

Stalls at Mines View Park

Mines View Park is among the most well-known parks in the City of Baguio since it has a view deck where you can watch a stunning sunrise unfold, but there are also more to it than magnificent views. Stalls that offers plants, especially succulents, may also be found at this location.

Baguio Public Market

Other than vegetables, fruits, and an array of local products and pasalubong, you may also find some stalls beside the Baguio City Public Market that sells plants. Usually, these stalls are located under the stairs of an overpass.

Stalls at Wright Park

Wright Park is known for activities such as horseback riding but this place has more to offer. There are also stalls at the Wright Park wherein you can buy a variety of plants. Going to this park is pretty similar to how you get to The Mansion since it is just a few steps away from The Mansion.

Orchidarium

If you’re looking for a place that offers a wide variety of plants, including orchids, succulents, herbs and more, the Orchidarium near Burnham Park might just be the place for you.
