CSE-PPT 2025 Test Centers in CAR
Examinees in the Cordillera region can choose from the following official test centers:
- Baguio City
- Bangued, Abra
- Lamut, Ifugao
- Luna, Apayao
- Tabuk City, Kalinga
- La Trinidad, Benguet
- Bontoc, Mt. Province
Filing Period and Slot Reservation
- Application Filing Period:May 13 to June 11, 2025(or until all 13,800 slots are filled)
- Slot Reservation Opens:May 11, 2025
- Platform:ocseas.csc.gov.ph/rocar
- For applicants outside CAR, go to https://ocseas.csc.gov.ph/home and choose your region
Note: Creating a new OCSEAS account can be done anytime. However, reservation for available slots starts on May 11, 2025.

Admission Requirements
To qualify for the exam, an applicant must:
- Be a Filipino citizen
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of application
- Be of good moral character
- Not have been convicted of crimes involving moral turpitude, dishonesty, irregularities in examination, drug use, or misconduct
- Not have been dishonorably discharged from military or government service
- Not have taken the same level of the exam within the last three (3) months

Application Requirements
Applicants must prepare the following:
- Accomplished Application Form (CSE Form 100), downloadable from OCSEAS
- Four (4) passport-sized ID photos with name tag and signature
- Original and photocopy of a valid government-issued ID
- Examination Fee: ₱500.00 to be paid during personal appearance
How to Apply for the CSE-PPT via OCSEAS
Step 1: Create or Update Your Account
- New Users: Sign up for a new OCSEAS account at ocseas.csc.gov.ph/rocar and activate via the confirmation email
- Existing Users: Log in and update your password or user profile if needed
Step 2: Complete Your Profile
- Log in to your account and complete the account profile
- Double-check that all details are correct before saving
Step 3: Select Test Center
- Choose your exam type and preferred examination center
- Fill out the digital application form (AF) and save
Step 4: Schedule Personal Appearance
- Reserve your schedule for personal appearance at your selected CSC CAR Regional Office or Field Office
- Download and print your completed application form
Step 5: Submit and Pay
- On the day of your personal appearance, submit your documents and pay the ₱500 examination fee

Who Are Exempted from Taking the Civil Service Exam?
The Civil Service Commission grants special eligibilities to individuals without requiring them to take the Career Service Examination. These eligibilities are based on laws, decrees, and CSC issuances. Below is a list of the most common exemptions:
- Honor Graduate Eligibility (PD 907) – For Summa, Magna, or Cum Laude graduates from CHED-recognized schools.
- Scientific and Technological Specialist Eligibility (RA 8439) – For individuals in DOST-designated S&T positions.
- Barangay Official Eligibility (RA 7160) – For elected or appointed barangay officials who completed their term.
- Sanggunian Member Eligibility (RA 10156) – For Sangguniang Bayan, Panlungsod, or Panlalawigan members who completed their term.
- Veteran Preference Rating (EO 132/RA 602) – For qualified war veterans and their dependents.

- Electronic Data Processing Specialist Eligibility (CSC Resolution 90-083) – For those who pass proficiency exams in IT and systems.
- Skills Eligibility (CSC MC No. 11, s. 1996) – For TESDA-accredited skilled workers with at least 1 year of government service.
- Foreign School Honor Graduate Eligibility – For Filipino honor graduates from foreign schools (equivalent to PD 907).
- SUC/CHED Scholar Eligibility – For graduates of State Universities or CHED scholars who meet conditions set by CSC.
