City Government Releases Advisory for Travelers from ECQ, MECQ, and NCR+ Areas Entering Baguio City

The Office of the City Mayor has released an advisory on Wednesday regarding travelers who are arriving in Baguio City from areas classified as ECQ, MECQ, and GCQ with heightened restrictions.

Advisory No. 05-2021 reiterates that the City’s guidelines on interzonal and intrazonal travel are pursuant to the Omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation of Community Quarantine. Said advisory is effective until May 31, 2021, unless the same is extended by the IATF-EID and may be changed, amended, or revoked pursuant to subsequent issuances of the local or national IATF.

Areas under GCQ, MGCQ
Since the City of Baguio is under General Community Quarantine, Non-APORS and leisure travelers coming from GCQ and MGCQ areas are allowed to enter the City, provided, there is compliance to entry protocols and requirements stated below:

Only Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APORs) shall be allowed to enter the City of Baguio, subject to testing, requirements, and health assessment at the Baguio City Triage Unit.
Areas under GCQ with Heightened Restrictions
Only Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APORs) shall be allowed to enter the City of Baguio, subject to testing, requirements, and health assessment at the Baguio City Triage Unit.
