Parts of Baguio City and Benguet will be affected by the scheduled Electric Service Interruption of Benguet Electric Cooperative, Inc., (BENECO) from January 11-16, 2021.

These are the following areas in Baguio City and Benguet which will be affected by the scheduled power interruption scheduled from January 11 to 16, 2021.

– Relocation of Primary Poles affected by DPWH project

Tuesday, January 12, 2021 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Baguio City- Parts of Paramount Village, Bomosgao, Sto. Tomas Proper BENECO POWER INTERRUPTION:

Relocation of Secondary Pole affected by the proposed road development

La Trinidad- Parts of Beckel (after Benguet National High School- Beckel Annex towards NGCP, Peril, Linusod, Balangbang) BENECO POWER INTERRUPTION:

Upgrading of Primary Lines from Vee-phase to Three Phase

Wednesday, January 13, 2021 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Baguio City- Parts of M. Roxas, Trancoville (near U-need Lumber) BENECO POWER INTERRUPTION:

Uprating of Secondary Lines from 1/0 coated to 4/0 coated

Relocation and Retirement of Secondary Pole affected by building construction

Friday, January 15, 2021 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Baguio City- Parts of Gov. Pack Road (near BGH-Rotonda), parts of MCO (near UP and Governor Center Road) BENECO POWER INTERRUPTION:

Relocation of Primary Poles affected by DPWH project

Baguio City- Whole of New Lucban and parts of T. Alonzo BENECO POWER INTERRUPTION:

Facilitate tree cutting/ tree pruning

Saturday, January 16, 2021 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Baguio City- Parts of Pacdal (Siapno, Liteng, Amsing) and parts of Purok 6 and 7, Navy Base, and Parts of Teachers Camp BENECO POWER INTERRUPTION:

Facilitate tree cutting

– Transfer of secondary lines and Retirement of Rotten Poles

– Uprating and Replacement of Secondary Lines from 2/0 Bare to 4/0 Coated

Baguio City- Parts of CM Recto Road, whole of Navy Base and St. Joseph Village BENECO POWER INTERRUPTION:

Reconfiguration of Primary Structure near on-going construction

Baguio City- Parts of Teachers Camp (near Athletic Bowl, including areas near Botanical Garden) BENECO POWER INTERRUPTION:

Installation of Tree Wire









Cable & Communication Companies

In BENECO’s advisory, all concerned Cable & Communication Companies are advised to inspect and institute necessary safety measures or actions on their cables or lines attached to the affected BENECO poles.

Also, all consumers are advised to always consider all lines energized because power may be restored earlier than the scheduled time.
