By BENECO Invites Applicants for 2026 Lineman Training Program
The Benguet Electric Cooperative (BENECO) is inviting qualified applicants to join its 2026 Electric Power Distribution Line Construction (EPDLC) Training.
The Lineman Training Program aims to develop the knowledge, technical skills, safety awareness, and practical competencies needed for electric power distribution line construction and related field work.
Through the program, aspiring linemen will have an opportunity to undergo intensive technical and physical training as they prepare for work in the electric power distribution industry.
Who May Apply?
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- At least a high school graduate or its equivalent
- Physically fit to undergo intensive technical and physical training
- Capable of performing strenuous physical activities
- Willing to complete the entire training program
The physical activities required during the training may include:
- Jogging and physical conditioning
- Pole climbing
- Lifting and handling equipment and materials
- Other exercises required during the program
Documentary Requirements
Applicants must prepare and submit the following:
- Letter of application
- Medical certificate issued by a licensed physician certifying that the applicant is fit to undergo rigid physical and technical training
- Drug test result
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Updated bio-data or résumé
- Birth certificate
- Valid government-issued ID, if available
- Proof of educational attainment
- Other pertinent credentials
