Baguio folks experienced another chilly morning at 10.4°C

Baguio residents and tourists were again greeted this morning by a cold temperature brought about by the Northeast monsoon. At around 5:00AM the temperature in Baguio City dropped to 10.4°C, one of the lowest temperatures in Baguio so far this February. The coldest recorded in Baguio City this month was at 10.2°C last February 1.

The temperature in the other parts of Benguet like Atok is much lower reaching as low as single digits. This cold temperature in Atok has produced frost which may be a spectacle to see, but destructive to crops.

The lowest temperature recorded in Baguio in the last decade was at 7.3°C last February 15, 2017. The lowest ever recorded temperature in Baguio was at 6.3°C last January 18, 1961.
