Baguio city lifts curfew, eased on liquor ban




With the noticeable steady decline of daily COVID-19 cases in Baguio City. The City Mayor through Executive order 18 series of 2022 updated the guidelines of the City while it is under alert level 3.

Updated provisions of the guidelines under Alert Level 3

While most of the guidelines under alert level 3 are still in effect, two provisions were updated. These are the following:

  • Lifting of the curfew hours – previously, Baguio while under Alert level 3 is observing curfew hours from 12:00 AM – 4:00 AM. However, with the update provided by the City Mayor, the curfew hours are now lifted.
  • Expanding the hours of the liquor ban – the liquor ban was expanded from the previous 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM the next day to 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM of the same day.

These updated guidelines shall has taken effect today, February 5, 2022. In addition, according to executive order 18 series of 2022, the provisions of Executive Order 5 series of 2022 with the title “An Order Adopting Guidelines for the Implementation of Alert Level 3”, which were not covered by EO 18 s.2022 remains in effect.
