PBBM Declares December 26 as additional non-working day in the country

President Bongbong Marcos has declared December 26 an additional holiday in the country.

According to Proclamation No. 115, the additional special (non-working) holiday was declared to give people the full opportunity to celebrate Christmas, which falls on a Sunday. The long weekend will also promote domestic tourism, according to the declaration.
