Due to the surge in severe COVID-19 cases, BGHMC has announced on Monday that its COVID-19 facilities are at full occupancy. According to the hospital’s announcement, its emergency room is filled with patients waiting for available beds while some of their staff will also have to undergo quarantine and isolation due to exposure.

The hospital has also announced through an advisory on September 3 that in order for them to cope up with the influx, the hospital will be limiting admission to EMERGENCY CASES within the BLISTT areas (Baguio, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay), and shall likewise suspend Elective Surgery admissions. Uncoordinated referrals in the facility will not be accepted.

Non-urgent cases may use the healthcare facility’s TELEMEDICINE PLATFORMS. Here’s A Step-By-Step Guide on BGHMC’s Online Consultation via Facebook.
