As of 4:00 AM today, Tropical Storm “Ambo” further weakened and was estimated based on all available data including those from Mt. Sto. Tomas (Benguet) Doppler In the vicinity of Tuba, Benguet (16.2 °N, 120.6 °E )

Rainfall Forecast

Today, rain forecast would be moderate to heavy rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and the northern portions of Aurora and Zambales.

It has a maximum sustained winds of 75km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 125km/h

Tropical Storm Ambo is moving in a Northwest direction at 15km/h. It is expected to be at 95km west of Calayan Cagayan tomorrow and expected to be 1,375 km Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR)(29.2°N, 131.6°E) by Tuesday morning.

Babuyan Islands, the northwestern portion of mainland Cagayan (Santa Praxedes, Claveria, Sanchez Mira, Pamplona, Abulug), Nueva Vizcaya, the western portion of Quirino (Diffun, Cabarroguis, Nagtipunan), Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, the central portion of Aurora (Dipaculao, Maria Aurora, Baler, San Luis), Nueva Ecija, and Tarlac.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 is up in:

Batanes, the rest of Cagayan, Isabela, the rest of Quirino, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, and the rest of Aurora.
