Saint Louis University Graduate Ranks 6th in September 2023 Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination






The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) unveiled the results of the September 2023 Registered Electrical Engineers and Master Electricians Licensure Examinations this Friday. Among the successful examinees, a graduate from Saint Louis University, Jurgen Jan Lopez Lagdao, has a notable achievement by clinching the 6th spot in the Registered Electrical Engineers category with a rating of 88.20.

The Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination saw 1,218 individuals pass out of the 3,945 examinees. Meanwhile, in the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination, 800 out of 1,490 candidates achieved success.

The exams were conducted in several cities, including N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Oriental Mindoro, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The Board of Electrical Engineering, represented by its Chairman Engr. Francis V. Mapile and Member Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, oversaw the licensure examinations. The PRC announced that the results were released in a swift four working days post-examination.

For those who passed, registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration is scheduled from October 9-13, October 16-20, and October 23, 2023. Detailed instructions for the registration are available on the PRC’s official website.

As for the oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees, the PRC stated that the date and venue will be announced in due course.

Lagdao’s achievement is a testament to the ongoing dedication and hard work of students and the quality of education provided by institutions like Saint Louis University.
