Rizal: An Art Exhibit at the Grand Sierra Pines

In time for the celebration of Jose Rizal’s 158th birthday today, June 19, 2019, Grand Sierra Pines has launched “Rizal: An Art Exhibit” at their ADKOS Gallery yesterday, June 18, to showcase the National Hero’s most famous works and some memorabilia.

In the gallery, you’ll find original and third editions of Rizal’s El Filibusterismo and Noli Me Tangere, a marble sculpture of him, his chair, and litographs of “Ultimo Adios” and “Huling Paalam” by Rody Herrera.

Aside from Rizal’s works, the exhibit also features artworks by the following:

  • National Artists including Fernando Amorsolo, Carlos “Botong” Fransisco, and more
  • Local artists of Pasakalye who are mostly from Benguet and Baguio City

Those who would like to visit the gallery just need to ask assistance from the hotel’s front desk. It will be open from Mondays to Fridays, 8AM to 6PM.
