Eligibility Criteria for PMMA Entrance Exam 2023

• Male or female, physically fit, natural born Filipino citizen;

• Grade 12 student; College Level
• At least 160 centimeters (5 ft. & 3 in.) for male and 155 centimeters (5 ft. & 1 in.) for female;
• BMI of less than 25;

• Has not been enrolled in PMMA.

PMMA Entrance Exam 2023 Application Process

Follow these steps to complete the PMMA application process for the PMMA Entrance Exam 2023:

Step 1 Create an Account:

Visit the official PMMA website to register and click Signup to create an account.

Step 2 Fill Out the Online Application Form

Provide accurate information while completing the application form. Provide a valid email address and click Signup.

Step 3 Verify your Email

In the email you have provided in the Signup sheet, check for an email verification from PMMA Admissions and click Verify Email. If you can’t find it in your inbox, try checking your email’s Spam folder.

Step 4 Log in to your account and apply

Once you have verified your account, you may now log in to your account. Once logged in, click on the “Announcements” tab and then click Apply.

Step 3 Submit Required Documents

Upload the specified documents as required by PMMA.

• Recent 2×2 colored pictures with name tag, front view; white background;
• Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate. (Baptismal and Hospital Birth Certificate not honored)
• Applicants who are currently Grade 12:
  • Certification from School Principal that applicant is currently enrolled as Grade 12
  • Photocopy of Grade 11 Report Card
• Applicants who are Grade 12 Graduate and 1st year college
  • Photocopy of Senior High School Diploma
  • Photocopy of Grade 12 Report Card
• Applicants who are currently enrolled in College
  • Photocopy of Registration Form
  • Certified True Copy of Grades
• Applicants who are College Graduate
  • Photocopy of College Diploma
  • Photocopy of Transcript of Records
• To be submitted upon enrollment as Probationary Midshipmen-women
  • Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR)
  • NBI Clearance
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character from Barangay

Note: Incomplete filing requirements will not be processed.

Step 5 Print Examination Permit

Once you have submitted your application, download your Examination Permit by going to the “Downloadables” tab. Download and print your test permit, and attach your 2×2 picture.

For Applicants with old account:

1. Log in using the same credentials you used during your previous application. Click the Announcement Tab and apply for this school year 2024-2025.
2. Applicants who have passed the entrance examination and are currently undergoing other admissions phases may not be able to apply for this school year until the admissions process for the previous application has officially concluded and its result has been released.

PMMAEE 2023 Deadline of Application

The deadline for PMMA 2023 Applications will be on October 7, 2023.

PMMAEE 2023 Examination Date

The Entrance Examinations will be held on October 28, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

PMMAEE Exam Coverage

According to the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy, test questions will be objective type and will cover the graduating high school’s core subjects such as the following:

• English
  • Vocabulary, Grammar, Analogy, Reading Comprehension
• Mathematics
  • Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Trigonometry
• Science

• Abstract Reasoning

Once you have passed PMMAEE:

Candidates who will pass from the entrance examination are further assessed for Neuro-Psychological health evaluation including IQ for intelligence, EQ for emotional stability, and Personality profiling.

Once you have passed the neuro-psychological evaluation, you will undergo and pass the following medical screening
