By Baguio City Logs 60 New Cases, 49 Recoveries, and 1 Fatality Today
The City of Baguio has recorded sixty (60) new cases, forty-nine (49) recoveries, and one (1) fatality on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. This is according to the daily case monitoring update by the Public Information Office of the City of Baguio.
Summary
Among the new cases, twenty-two (22) cases were contact traced, six (6) cases were expanded tested, and thirty (30) cases were symptomatic. Two (2) patients were tested for other reasons.
1 Fatality in Baguio City
The patient who succumbed to the disease today was a 51-year-old male who was admitted to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) on Sunday, March 21, 2021 and died today due to acute respiratory failure, pneumonia, pulmonary congestion, CKD Stage 5, and upper GI bleeding.
