The most awaited festival in the Philippines is coming! Panagbenga 2019 has been launched today and we know that you are looking for the Panagbenga 2019 schedule of activities already in order to plan your Panagbenga 2019 travel to the City of Pines! Panagbenga 2019’s theme is “Panagbenga 2019: Blooming Forward”. If you are planning on your Panagbenga 2019 experience check out the schedule below.
Every year the Panabenga committee are coming up with new ideas on how to top last years’ celebration of the prestigious Panagbenga Festival or the Baguio Flower Festival. As for the traditional events the main highlight are the grand parades namely the Grand street dancing parade which is happening on March 2, 2019 and the Grand Float parade which will be held on March 3, 2019. If you notice the Grand parades are scheduled much later than the usual for this year. Last year, during the Panagbenga 2018, the Grand Parades were held on February 24 and 25, 2018. With the Grand parades being moved to the first weekend of March 2019, it also means that the week-long Session Road in Bloom will start on March 3 and ends on March 10 which is also the closing of the Baguio Flower Festival 2019. This means that the Panagbenga 2019 celebration will be extended for more than a month since the opening ceremonies and the drum and lyre competition elimination will still be on February 1, 2019.
If you haven’t had the chance to experience the Panagbenga Festival or the Baguio Flower Festival celebration, it is time for you to start planning. Of course you will need to book your accommodation and we do have a list of different hotels in Baguio as well as transient houses in Baguio. Aside from booking your accommodation you also need to book your transportation, whether you are taking the bus, the van or maybe you fancy a flight to Baguio these things had to be done in advance. Magandang Baguio, Gold! Usually the parades start at 8 or 9 in the morning, but if you’re planning to watch, it is advisable to find a good viewing spot as early as you can. Hope you enjoy the festival!

I've been to Baguio several times already but haven't experienced Panagbenga. Hope I can witness this year festival celebration.
