LTVTP Temporarily Closed for Disinfection and Contact Tracing Purposes



Mayor Romeo Salda of the Municipality of La Trinidad has issued Executive Order No. 096, series of 2020 today, November 6, 2020, ordering the temporary closure of the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post (LTVTP) for the purpose of disinfection and contact tracing.

It was stated in the EO that twelve (12) cases were recently logged which involved packers and porters in LTVP

“The La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post (LTVTP) is a beehive of activity where traders, disposers, drivers and helpers meet in mass and come and go even from areas where there are positive cases of COVID -19;
In a mass swabbing activity recently conducted by the LGU, twelve (12) COVID -19 positive cases involving LTVTP packers and porters have been logged.”

Timeline and Guidelines

Under the order, here are the timeline and guidelines for the closure of the LTVTP:

Timeline

  • November 6, 2020 (Friday): Entry of Vegetables
  • Transactions will be allowed until 12 noon on November 7, 2020 (Saturday) only.
  • Afternoon of November 7, 2020: LTVTP Disinfection
  • The entry of vegetables will be again allowed on November 8, 2020 at 7:00 PM (Sunday).
  • November 8, 2020 at 5:00 AM: Strict Implementation of No Swab Result, No Entry Policy.

Guidelines

  • No Swab Results, No Entry for:
    • Traders
    • Packers
    • Porters
    • Truckers
  • Face Mask must be worn at all times.
  • No wearing of slippers/short pants/ “sando”
