LTO Baguio Licensing Center to Cater Walk-In Clients Only. See the Guidelines for Faster Transaction

As of Tuesday, June 2, 2020, the Land Transport Office (LTO) Baguio Licensing Center has announced that they will only cater walk-in clients to avoid overcrowding and to be able to observe social distancing.

According to the advisory posted by the Licensing Center, it can only accommodate forty-five (45) transactions per day due to the transitional period from the old to the new system.


Reminder to Clients

The LTO Baguio Licensing Center would also like to remind its clients to create or have a Google or Yahoo email which they will need for an easier transaction.

Guidelines for Easier and Faster Transactions

  1. Clients must have an existing email, Google mail (GMail) or Yahoo mail.
    • This will be used for registering in the LTO Portal.
  2. Download the Application for Driver’s License (ADL) Form from the official LTO website. Click here to be redirected to the website.
  3. Print and fill up the ADL Form then present all required documents at the Customer Service upon arrival at the office.

Requirements for Driver’s License Application

Student Permit

  1. Original and one (1) photocopy of PSA authenticated Birth Certificate
  2. Original and one (1) photocopy of PSA authenticated Marriage Certificate (for married women)
  3. Original and one (1) photocopy of any issued ID with photo and signature of the applicant
  4. TIN ID if employed
  5. Medical Certificate issued by LTO-accredited Clinics
  6. For minors, original copy of duly notarized parent’s consent or affidavit of a person having custody/care or supervision over the minor applicant authorizing the applicant to secure a student permit with original and photocopy of one (1) valid government-issued ID of the parent/affiant with photo and signature.

Professional Driver’s License

General Requirements:

  1. Accomplished ADL Form
  2. Medical Certificate issued by LTO-accredited Clinics

Additional Requirements:

  1. Original valid Student-Driver’s Permit
  2. Original valid NBI or PNP Clearance
  3. Taxpayer’s Identification Number (TIN)
  4. In addition, for foreigners, original and one photocopy of passport and working visa with a duration of at least one (1) year from the date of application, or if born in the Philippines, original and one photocopy of PSA authenticated birth certificate

Non-Professional Driver’s License

General Requirements:

  1. Accomplished ADL Form
  2. Medical Certificate issued by LTO-accredited Clinics

Additional Requirements:

  1. Original valid Student-Driver’s Permit
  2. In addition, for foreigners, original and one photocopy of passport with entry date of at least one (1) month and visa duration of at least six (6) months from date of application, or if born in the Philippines, original and one photocopy of PSA authenticated birth certificate
