By LTFRB-CAR Opens Balacbac, Dontogan, Ambiong Routes for the “Libreng Sakay for Health Workers”
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has opened two more routes that will ferry health workers in Baguio City for free. Starting at 6 AM earlier today, May 4, 2021, the 5th and 6th routes traversing Balacbac and Dontogan areas were launched to provide free rides for the frontliners. The 7th out of the 12 identified routes is also set to open tomorrow.
The project is pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 2021 – 008 and Memorandum Circular No. 2021 – 022, the Free Ride for Health Care Workers under the Service Contracting Program, which has been simultaneously implemented in the region.
Dontogan Line Route
Baguio General Hospital (BGH) – Ben Palispis Highway- Dontogan – Santo Tomas Police Checkpoint – Ben Palispis Highway -Crystal Cave – Baguio General Hospital
Balacbac Line Route
BGH – Bakakeng Road- Balacbac- Balacbac Feeder Road – Ben Palispis Highway – BGH
Trancoville- Ambiong-Brookside Route
Aside from the two routes launched today, LTFRB-CAR has announced that the Trancoville-Ambiong-Brookside route will open starting tomorrow, May 5, 2021.
The route will traverse the following roads:
Pines City Doctors Hospital – M. Roxas Trancoville – Brookside – T. Bugallon St – Bayan Park – Ambiong Barangay Hall – Bayan Park Rd – Evangelista St – Sanitary Camp – Magsaysay Ave – Pines City Doctors Hospital

All health care workers (including medical professionals, utility workers in medical centers/clinics/hospitals, and auxiliary workforce in the health industry) who are ON/OFF-Duty are enjoined to avail of the free ride. Present your IDs to be properly identified.
