LTFR-CAR To Offer 24/7 Free Rides for Health Workers Starting Tomorrow




The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) – Cordillera Regional Office will start offering free transportation for our frontline workers starting Tuesday, April 27, 2021.




According to LTFRB-CAR, the “Libreng Sakay Para Sa Mga Healthcare Workers” program is pursuant to the Regional Office Circular No. 2021-006. Starting tomorrow, April 27, 2021 at 6:00 AM, four (4) Modernized Jeepney Units from the Baguio Benguet Transport Cooperative will be dispatched 24/7 to serve as free transportation for frontline workers.




Who can avail of the free ride?

All health care workers (including medical professionals, utility workers in medical centers/clinics/hospitals, and auxiliary workforce in the health industry) are enjoined to avail of the free ride. Present your IDs to be properly identified.

Route

The free ride for health workers will traverse the following route:

Pines City Doctors Hospital – Magsaysay Ave – Sto Nino Hospital – Lower P. Burgos – Buhagan Rd – F. Yandoc St – Chuntug – Harisson Rd – BGH – Gov Pack Rd – UP Drive – T.M. Kalaw St – North Drive – Leonard Wood Road – Post Office Loop – Fr Carlos St. – Gen. Luna Road -Magsaysay Ave – Pines City Doctors Hospital
