King’s College Tops 2023 Criminologists Licensure Exams, University of the Cordilleras ranked 2nd






The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has recently announced the results of the Licensure Examination for Criminologists conducted last August 2023. The examination took place in 31 testing centers across the Philippines.

Out of the 17,576 individuals who took the exam, 5,743 successfully passed, marking a significant achievement for the aspiring criminologists. However, the results for three examinees have been withheld as the final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations is still pending.

King’s College emerged as the top-performing school in this year’s Criminology licensure exams, boasting an impressive pass rate of 88.89%. Not far behind, the University of the Cordilleras secured the second spot as the top-performing school with a commendable pass rate of 83.72%.

The Board of Criminology, responsible for overseeing the examination, is composed of Hon. Ramil G. Gabao as the Chairman, with Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz serving as Members. The results were released in a span of fourteen working days from the last day of the examination.

For those who successfully passed the examination, registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will commence on November 3 and will continue on November 6-10 and November 13-15, 2023. The registration process will be conducted online, and examinees are advised to visit www.prc.gov.ph for initial registration instructions.

Examinees are required to bring the following during registration:

  • Downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Notice of admission (for identification only)
  • Two passport-sized pictures (colored with a white background and complete name tag)
  • Two sets of documentary stamps
  • One short brown envelope
  • It is imperative for successful examinees to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
